Automatic Assembly Machine for Ballpoint Pens and Gel Pens

 

This assembly machine is used for automated assembly of ballpoint pens and ballpoint pens. It adopts a Taiwan made speed controller combination, equipped with ABBA linear tracks and imported electronic components, with stable and reliable performance, suitable for mass production needs of ballpoint pens and ballpoint pens, greatly improving assembly efficiency and product consistency.

 

Scope of Application

 

It can automatically complete the assembly process of the pen body, pen core (ballpoint pen ball core/neutral pen needle tube core), back cover, front cover, and pen clip (optional), with a production capacity of 50-80 pieces per minute. It supports the assembly needs of different specifications and models of ballpoint pens and neutral pens, adapts to various pen production lines, and can flexibly switch product models without the need for significant adjustments to equipment parameters.

 

Production Process

 

By using five shaking plates, the pen body, pen core, back cover, front cover, and pen clip (optional) are accurately conveyed to the track. After the pen body is in place, the pen core is automatically accurately loaded into the pen body. After the monitor checks the installation depth and firmness of the pen core, the back cover is assembled. The monitor synchronously checks whether the position of the back cover is correct and whether the buckle is in place; Subsequently, the front cover is assembled, and the pen core head (ballpoint pen ball end/neutral pen ink outlet end) is precisely docked. The monitor checks the position and fit of the front cover, and optional pen clips can be installed and fixed for inspection. Finally, the monitor conducts an overall inspection to confirm that there are no missing or incorrect installations, and the entire assembly process is completed.

 

Technical Improvements

 

1.Precise Assembly:

The installation depth of the pen core can be accurately adjusted through an automatic caliper, and each assembly step is monitored in real time by a monitor. The focus is on checking for problems such as the pen core being installed incorrectly, the front cover not being fastened, and the back cover being loose, in order to prevent missing, incorrect, and misaligned installations, greatly improve product quality consistency, and reduce the rate of non-conforming products.

 

2.Stable Operation:

ABBA linear tracks are used in conjunction with imported electronic components to ensure tight and smooth transmission of each component, reducing friction losses during operation, optimizing mechanical structure design, adapting to the assembly accuracy requirements of different pen cores (steel balls/needle tubes) of ballpoint pens and neutral pens, enhancing equipment durability, extending service life, and reducing maintenance costs and downtime losses in the later stage.

 

3.Space Adaptability:

Adopting a compact design, the machine size is controlled at 200 × 150 × 150cm, weighing 450kg, occupying moderate space, reserving standardized interfaces, and can be flexibly integrated into existing production lines without the need for significant changes in workshop layout, adapting to the diverse layout requirements of small and medium-sized factories and large mass production workshops.
